In the matter of getting bail from the accused of molestation by calling him a minor, the police has lodged an FIR against the youth’s grandfather along with the principal who issued fake certificate from the school and the notary and advocate who issued the affidavit. The matter is of Laheriyasarai police station area of Darbhanga district.
The accused’s grandfather got an affidavit made from a notary public that he was a minor.
In this regard, the police say that a girl had registered a case of molestation and assault under case number 353/2023 in Baheri police station. Taking action, the police of Bahedi police station arrested the molesting youth, Shubham Kumar Singh, son of Krishna Kanhaiya Singh, resident of Sankherha of Bahedi police station area, and sent him to jail. To release Shubham Kumar Singh from jail, the accused’s grandfather Mithilesh Prasad Singh, through an advocate, got an affidavit from a notary public that he was a minor. The affidavit was made by Mohammad Zakir Hussain Rabbani, Principal of Middle School Sankherha of the same village. Police say that Principal Mohammad Zakir Hussain Rabbani is a resident of Jhagdua village of Jamalpur police station area. Police say that the accused issued the transfer certificate of an eighth pass minor. Krishna Kanhaiya Singh, son of the youth’s father Mithilesh Prasad Singh, was also involved in this entire incident.
School head master, lawyer to notary public will go to jail
In this regard, Laheriasarai police station incharge Deepak Kumar said that after the court order, the matter was investigated, in which all the cases were found to be true. On the application of police sub-inspector inspector Dilip Kumar posted at Laheriyasarai police station, grandfather, father and son, principal, Kailash Kumar, son of advocate late Sukhdev Prasad Singh, who is a resident of Hasan Chowk of Nagar police station area, and Iftar Kalim, son of notary advocate late Mohammad Tajuddin Ansari. Who is a resident of Mughalpura of Laheriyasarai police station area. A case has been registered against these people. It is said that due to being a minor, Shubham Kumar Singh was granted bail by the court. On the basis of the transfer certificate issued by the middle school located in Sankherha village, the lawyer prepared an affidavit and presented it in the court and got the child accused released on bail. The court took this matter seriously and after getting the matter investigated, directed to register an FIR.
Shubham Kumar Singh and his friends molested and assaulted him while returning from college.
This incident occurred on October 19, 2023, when a girl returning from college was molested by Shubham Kumar Singh and his friends. The accused also beat up the girl when she protested. The victim had registered a case against Shubham Kumar Singh and his friends in Baheri police station regarding this matter. After the case was registered, accused Shubham Kumar Singh was arrested and sent to jail. Laheriyasarai police station incharge Deepak Kumar said that a case has been registered and soon action will be taken against these people.
